Our family consist of 100% volunteers from the Executive Board, committee members, coaches and managers. We rely on volunteerism to make this Little League charter great. We promise to do our best to keep our environment safe, positive, supportive and encouraging for your child and yourself. The vision of Highland Springs Little League is to bring generations together through the love of baseball and softball to remember, celebrate, build and reignite the tradition of the community. Highland Springs Little League strives to create and maintain a safe and fun learning environment for everyone. We will lead by example and exemplify a strong, positive work ethic by dedicating our time on and off the field to bring our communities, families, players and coaches together as one. We pledge our efforts to our children to build character, self-esteem, and respect so they can grow into not only great team players but also confident leaders. These positions are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Player Agent, Safety Officer & Coaching Coordinator. Board of Directors A board member is a volunteer that serves on the board with an official title OR voted as an official board member without a title by the Executive Board. The titles consist of (but not limited to): VP of Operations, Umpire-in-Chief, League Information Officer, Sponsor Fundraising Manager, Concession Manager, Registrar, Scheduler, Head Team Mom etc.… General Board Member A general board member is a volunteer that serves on the board to support the Executive Board and Board of Directors. These members are our coaches, managers, directors and those that serve on a committee. Regular Member Any adult person actively interested in furthering the objectives of the HSLL may become a Regular Member upon completed volunteer application and background check (possible payment of dues) as hereinafter provided. Only Regular to Executive Board Members in good standing are permitted to vote at General Membership Meetings. All Executive Board Members, Board Members, Committee Members, Managers, Coaches, Volunteer Umpires and other elected or appointed officials must be active Regular Members in good standing.
