How much does Fungo cost?
Your first team is free, forever. Full access to every feature. If you coach more teams, you choose what you pay each month — anywhere from $1 to $50. No fixed price, no contracts. Pause or cancel anytime.
What's included in the free team?
Everything. There's no feature gating or limitations on your free team. You get the same full access as a paid coach — automated lineups, draft management, player evaluations, schedule management, team messaging, and more.
What does "choose your amount" actually mean?
When you sign up for a second team or decide to support Fungo voluntarily, you'll see a slider from $1 to $50/month. Most coaches with 2 teams pay around $15/month. Pick what feels fair for you — we trust coaches to value the platform honestly.
Why isn't there a fixed price?
Every coach values this differently. A coach with one team and a part-time job gets different value than someone running three travel teams. Asking everyone to pay the same number felt like the wrong call. Pay what's fair to you.
What if I coach multiple teams?
Your first team is free. When you add a second team, your minimum goes up a bit (we suggest a starting amount based on what other coaches with that many teams pay), but you're still in control of the exact number. The slider shows you what's typical for your team count.
Can I pause my subscription between seasons?
Yes. Pause anytime — your data stays, billing stops, and you resume when you're ready. Pause is the primary off-ramp. Most youth seasons aren't year-round, so it makes more sense than canceling outright.
Can I lower my amount once I pick it?
The only way to lower your amount is to cancel a team, at which point you can choose to drop your contribution proportionally or keep supporting at your current level. Otherwise your amount is the floor for future teams. This keeps the math fair without making the slider feel like a trap.
Do parents have to pay?
Never. Parents can view schedules, RSVP for games, see lineups, check snack assignments, and manage their child's profile — all completely free.
Do I need a credit card to get started?
No. Your first team is free with no credit card required. You only need payment info if you choose to support Fungo or add a second team.
What happens if I delete my free team and create a new one?
If you used your first team (added players, games, or lineups), that counts as your free team. Your next team uses the choose-your-amount flow. If you never added anything to it, your free credit carries over.
