About Vernon-Rockville Little League
Vernon-Rockville Little League (VRLL) serves the Vernon and Rockville communities of Connecticut, providing youth baseball and softball programs for players from Tee Ball through Senior League. Founded in 1950 and celebrating over seven decades of Little League play, VRLL is a community cornerstone dedicated to youth development, sportsmanship, and family involvement, operating fields throughout the Vernon area.
History
Vernon-Rockville Little League was founded in 1950, making it one of the longest-running youth baseball programs in Connecticut. In 2025, the league celebrated its 75th anniversary with a special Opening Day Parade and Ceremony, calling on generations of past and current players to mark the milestone. Over its seven-plus decades, VRLL has grown to offer baseball and softball programs across multiple divisions — from Tee Ball through Senior League — and has become a beloved institution in the Vernon and Rockville communities.
