About Our League Plymouth-Canton Little League provides an exceptional youth baseball and softball experience for children in Plymouth and Canton, Michigan, as the only program in the area chartered by Little League International. Affiliated with the same global organization that hosts the prestigious Little League World Series, PCLL is committed to fostering athletic development and community values in a safe, enjoyable environment. All of us here at PCLL are committed to providing an opportunity for kids to learn and play baseball and softball in a safe and enjoyable environment while developing the qualities of sportsmanship, respect, discipline and teamwork. Our goal is to build dedicated athletes for the future and develop a solid commitment to the community in every player. Offered Programs Spring Baseball and Softball Programs Teams begin practice in late March or early April, weather and field conditions permitting. Our ceremonial Opening Day is typically scheduled toward the end of April. The season runs from April - early July. Fall Baseball and Softball Programs Teams begin practice in late August, with teams playing 1-2 games per week beginning in September. The season ends mid-late October depending on division. Post-Season Programs Players who are league age 8+ may be eligible to try out for post-season tournament play with our Lightning Travel League. Tryouts are typically held in July with the Fall Classic tournament happening in early-mid fall. Practices will resume again after January, with tournaments are usually held between March and June. Clinics PCLL is committed to developing all players. Affordably-priced winter clinics are available for all age groups and focus on key skills, such as fielding, catching, hitting, pitching (age 9+), and coaching.
