About Lancaster Rec Little League
Lancaster Rec Little League is a youth baseball program operated by the Lancaster Recreation Commission, a 501(c)3 non-profit serving Lancaster, Pennsylvania. As part of Lancaster Rec's broader youth sports offerings, the Little League program provides affordable, community-based baseball for children across Lancaster City, Lancaster Township, and the School District of Lancaster area. History
The Lancaster Recreation Commission has been operating since 1909, making it one of the oldest public recreation agencies in Pennsylvania. Formed as a partnership between the City of Lancaster, the School District of Lancaster, and Lancaster Township, it has served the community for over 100 years with affordable youth and adult recreation programs. Its Little League baseball program is part of this long tradition of providing neighborhood-based youth sports and recreation opportunities.
