About Honolulu Little League

Honolulu Little League (formerly Kaimuki Little League) is one of the oldest Little Leagues in Hawaii, serving the Honolulu area since its first season in 1954. The league offers baseball and softball programs across multiple age divisions and competes in District 6 alongside the Aiea and Halawa Little Leagues. The league is nationally recognized, having won the Little League World Series in 2018 and 2022.

History

Honolulu Little League (formerly Kaimuki Little League) is believed to be one of the oldest existing Little Leagues in Hawaii, playing its first season in 1954. The league is a member of District 6. Honolulu Little League won the Little League World Series in 2022 (defeating Curacao 13-3) and 2018 (defeating South Korea 3-0). They also advanced to the LLWS in 2025 and finished third in 2021. The league added softball in 2019, with the Majors softball team winning the Hawaii State Championship and Western Regional Championship that year and advancing to the LLWS Softball World Series. The Juniors teams have advanced to the Junior League Baseball World Series in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
