Our Mission The Mission of Groton Little League The Mission of Groton Little League is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, and respect for authority - while fostering a love for the great game of baseball. It is our belief that further developing these ideals in the children of the community will support them as they continue their journey towards becoming well-adjusted, stronger and happier children, who will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.
History
Groton Little League has been in existence since 1952. The league is committed to building a strong, long-lasting program focused on positivity, hard work, and respect for the game. Through Little League Baseball, Groton develops players not just as athletes but as citizens—instilling confidence, discipline, teamwork, and character in young players from the Groton, Connecticut community.
