About Grand Mesa Little League

Grand Mesa Little League is a cornerstone youth baseball and softball organization proudly serving Grand Junction, Colorado since 1963. Nestled in the heart of the Grand Valley with views of Mt. Garfield and the Grand Mesa, the league offers programs for players of all ages and is dedicated to building confidence, friendships, and character through the sport of baseball and softball.

History

Founded in 1963, Grand Mesa Little League has grown alongside the Grand Valley for more than six decades. In 1974, local philanthropist Loyd Files generously donated the land where the leagues fields stand today, with the stipulation that the property would always be dedicated to youth baseball and softball. The league continues to honor that legacy by investing in its players, families, and the broader Grand Junction community.
