GOFFSTOWN JUNIOR BASEBALL MISSION The objective of GJB shall be to positively impact youth and communities using the power of youth baseball to teach life lessons to build stronger individuals and communities. To achieve this objective, GJB will provide a supervised program of baseball consistent with the Rules and Regulations of Little League Baseball, Inc. All Directors, Officers, and Members shall consider and incorporate the values of Little League: Teamwork, Community, Inclusion, Fun, and Integrity. The molding of future citizens is of prime importance and the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary. In accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Federal Internal Revenue Code, GJB shall operate exclusively as a nonprofit educational organization, providing a supervised program of competitive baseball games. No part of the net earnings shall benefit any individual or be used in any substantial part to influence legislation or intervene in any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office. Goffstown Junior Baseball (a.k.a., GJB, Goffstown Little League) exists for the enjoyment of the youngsters in Goffstown, New Boston, Dunbarton, Weare, Hillsboro, and Deering. Our primary goal is for kids to have fun learning to play baseball, while also teaching the fundamentals of life, fair play, and good sportsmanship. In conjunction with Little League binding regulations, GJB has established bylaws and policies to organize the participation of hundreds of local children. These are available upon request to [email protected] . The rules are designed to ensure equitable and uniform treatment; exceptions are strongly discouraged. While GJB encourages constructive input, it is important to recognize that Little League is mindful of team relationships, and is not interested in personal agendas or conflicts that parents may have with league members.
