About Beckum Stapleton Little League
Beckum-Stapleton Little League (BSLL) is a historic youth baseball and softball organization based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, serving players aged 4 to 18 from Tee Ball through advanced divisions. As a chartered member of Little League Baseball International, BSLL provides a safe, inclusive environment focused on character development, teamwork, and community empowerment in Milwaukee's inner-city neighborhoods.
History
Founded in 1964, Beckum-Stapleton Little League has been a cornerstone of Milwaukee's inner-city communities for over six decades. The league has competed in local, state, and regional tournaments including Midwest events, and has been supported by the broader Milwaukee community throughout its history. Named in part for James Beckum, the league is dedicated to mentorship and empowerment, shaping generations of youth through the values of sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect.
