Amsterdam Youth Baseball Little League is a Little League-chartered organization serving the Amsterdam, New York area, recognized as the area's largest provider of baseball. The league offers spring Little League programs as well as recreational baseball for teenagers ages 13–15, and hosts annual community events including a golf tournament fundraiser and an Opening Day BBQ.
History
Amsterdam Youth Baseball Little League was established in 1951, making it one of the longer-running youth baseball programs in the greater Amsterdam, New York area. Recognized as the area's largest provider of baseball, the league has grown to include spring Little League programs, a summer Intermediate division for teens ages 13–15, and annual community traditions including an Opening Day BBQ fundraiser and a golf tournament benefit.
