About Algonquin Baseball And Softball Association
Algonquin Baseball and Softball Association (ABSA) offers youth baseball and softball programs for players ages 4–16 in Southborough and Northborough, Massachusetts. Formed from the 2021 merger of Southborough Little League and Northborough Little League, ABSA provides competitive and recreational play across multiple fields in both communities, including George Mooney Park, Memorial Field, and several other venues in the Algonquin region.
History
Algonquin Baseball and Softball Association was formed in 2021 following the merger of Southborough Little League (SLL) and Northborough Little League. Southborough Little League had served the community for many years, with notable milestones including the dedication of the Brian G. Shifrin Memorial Field in June 2021. Since the merger, ABSA has expanded programming across both Southborough and Northborough and continues to offer programs from T-Ball through senior divisions for the Algonquin-area communities.
